Sticky Chicken on Rice
Ingredients
1kg/8pcs chicken drumsticks
2 cups long grain white rice
2 ½ cups of water
1 brown onion, sliced
1–2 cups stir fry mix
1 tablespoon garlic & ginger mix
Pantry staples:
50g dark soy sauce
100g golden/light soy sauce
150g oyster sauce
Brown sugar or honey
Chilli flakes (to taste)
Method
Place the chicken drumsticks straight into a baking dish.
Add dark soy sauce, golden/light soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic & ginger mix, brown sugar, chilli flakes directly into the baking dish.
Add the sliced onion, 1–2 cups of the Pam’s stir fry mix to the baking dish.
Stir to coat the chicken and vegetables well and place in the oven on 180 degrees for 30 minutes.
Cook 2 cups of rice according to the packet instructions ensuring you rinse the rice thoroughly until water runs clear.
Serve over rice and enjoy.
